Sue Hatfield Gunelson

Sue is living in Salina, Kansas. My sons are here and Lisa is in Houston, TX. I retired in 2003 and have enjoyed not working. Have done some traveling, nothing out of the ordinary. Currently my time is spent taking in anything the grandchildren are participating in. Love to visit friends and love to read. Am trying to find someone to teach me to crochet, I need a hobby other than getting in trouble!!

Son Jeff and wife, Jennifer have two daughters, Haley 10 and Henslie 3. Jeff has
two sons by earlier marriage, Tyler 24 and
Trevor 18. Jeff and Jen started their own
business by becoming Matco Tool distributors.

Jeff is in Lyons every other Wednesday if you men need anything. Jen recently accepted a job with Brookline, owners of the Sterline House living facilities here in Salina. She is Marketing and Sales Mgr. Son Craig is a long-time, 13 yrs. employee of Exline here in Salina. It is a hot and dirty job but as he says, someone has to do it!. Craig has one son, Seth 11, soon to be 12.

I kinda got the horse before the cart. After 1959 graduation I attended Wichita Business College, enrolling in the 12 month Executive Secretary course. What a joke. High school was harder. Phyllis Swenson Butts and I skipped alot of classes and went to the movie across the street.. My father, when I'd completed 10 months, says, come home, there's job at Chandler Bank for you. The same time the opening at the Rice County Welfare Office for a stenographer was available. I chose the stenographer job and absolutely loved it. Sure got my fill of shorthand. While in that job, I met my prospective husband to be. Brad Gunelson and I were married for 30 years and he decided we had were not happy so filed for divorce. I have been a single, happy individual since 1992.
