Today's Featured Biography
John Smith
We have been living in Cartersville, Georgia since 1989. I am working as an estimator for Profire, Inc, a company that specializes in residential insurance restoration. I also do some insurance underwriting inspections and work as an independent insurance adjuster. Work tends to get in the way of play time and I am working hard to change that. Becky, my best friend, wife, and the mother of my children works as a elementary school teacher.
My oldest daughter, Cassandra, was married to a wonderful man in December and is living in Jacksonville. She is pursuing her nursing career and loves it.
Twin girls, a dad's blessing, came to us in 1997. Their names are Ashlyn and Leann, and they think their daddy hung the moon. Ashlyn is on the swim team, and Leann is learning the drums (Rock Band on Wii got it all started!).
We recently purchased a second home in Florida and love to go there with the boat and explore the islands off of the west coast. Being on the ocean can be therapudic.
We love to travel and are always looking for somewhere that stays above about 70 degrees. None of us like the cold, and that pretty much rules out any return to Indiana to live, though recently extended time spent there preceeding my father's death reminded me of how nice life can be away from the busy bustle of our city here in Atlanta.
