Today's Featured Biography
Rebecca Morris Tucker
Moved to Georgia in 1997 and love living on a little island. I'm an artist, an oil painter, and exhibit my dog portraits at a gallery on St. Simons, and other paintings at Glynn Visual Art, Goodyear Cottage on Jekyll Island, and at the Georgia Coastal Artist shows several times a year.
My son, Fred, was married to my perfect daughter-in-law, Corey, in 2011, and are both emergency veterinarians in Seattle. He says Corey is smarter than he is, and I love that. My daughter Betsy was married to her husband, Tim, also in 2011. They live in Naples, FL, she's a wedding and event planner at a hotel and he's an attorney.
I seem to attract homeless animals (and sometimes people!), and currently have two cats and a crazy dog who walks with me and a group of equally crazy dogs and their semi-crazy owners every morning at sunrise on the beach. It's a good life. Ask Robin Cochran Christman, who blesses me with a visit every year and wishes she could stay forever.
