A positive thought about reunions
, "It’s a privilege to know people over the course of a lifetime and to reconnoiter and hear about the ordinary goodness of life. By 75 (or 78?), some of our class have gotten whacked hard.

Today's Featured Biography
Phyllis Kile Jenne
My dream to become a nurse was fulfilled after I graduated from Jewish Hospital School of Nursing in St. Louis. I soon thereafter became the wife of an Air Force officer and learned what it was like to move a lot and on short notice.
In the first ten years , we lived in Minnesota, North Dakota, Washington and the year Howard was on a remote tour to Greenland, my new born son and I returned to Vandalia, Illinois to spend the year. I worked that year at our Vandalia Community Hospital.
We spent two and a half years on Okinawa , which gave us a chance to see the Orient. , Taiwan, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Hawaii. Our first year , we lived off base with the locals and that was quite an experience. I have to say, these were the best years of my life.
We came back to California, in 1970, and spent the next thirty-five years there. It was a great place to live with so much to do and see until it bacame too crowded and too busy. Too many people - too many cars.
A year ago , we decided to move to
Chandler, Arizona to a retirement community. We stay busy all the time and have met the most wonderful and friendly people. I'm now involved with running the blood pressure clinic and I participate in yoga, book club, drama club and dance twice a week. I love to quilt , which I took up when I retired, but have not had time to quilt here since we moved.
I retired with 40 years of nursing in 1998. I was able to work in many areas of nursing , but spent the last twenty-one years at Kaiser Permanente in the clinic.
We have two adult sons and four grand children who still live in California. "Here the call me the "Camp Solera Nurse." I am always available and on call when someone has a question about their health. Respectfully: Phyllis Kile Jenne

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
