10/14/2008 Donations
There are several reasons donations are being asked for...
1. To keep any committee member from using out of pocket money for deposits or other start up costs.
2. To have a fund for me

Let's see if I can cram 20 years worth of living in this Bio area.
Work: Much to everyone's dismay, I did not continue my career at McDonald's. I tried the college thing, but besides rooming with Jeff Schmahl and the parties, it was not for me. If I recall, they asked me in a polite way, not to bother coming back! Lucked into a decent Job, and am still doing a variation of that Job 18 years later. If you own any gaming system, you probably have some of my work. I do the Manuals and Covers that are on XBOX, PS2, Wii..... all those, and alot of DVD wraps and Blu-ray. I get to do some Graphic Design work, and sit at my Mac all day. I also do some design work on the side. It's a far cry from the oceanographer I wanted to be when I was younger, but it's still a rewarding career. As long as it doesn't get outsourced to India. : )
Life: Been married twice.... that went about the same as college.... not for me and I was asked not to come back. Seriously though, one marriage I was way too young for, and the other one lasted 10 years and produced the love of my life, my son Brandon. For almost 2 years, I have been dating a great woman, Katie Jo, who has a 5 year old daughter that is making me go grey quicker than I should be, but is a beautiful little lady. I couldn't be happier with where I am now relationship-wise.
I also moved to Jacksonville, IL in 95 for my job, and love it. 20,000 people.... not to small, not too big. I get to travel for work sporadically, so If I need a big town, I just go to New York or Chi-town. But I like the small town vibe.... Except for the fact that most of the Drama around here is more like High School than High school ever was. And everyone knows everyone.
There are some things I wanted to accomplish that I haven't, and some things I have accomplished that I wish I hadn't, but for the most part it has been a wonderful life. There are alot of you that I still tell stories about, that I think about every time I watch "Dirty Dancing", and usually some random thing pops up that takes me back. We had a good run in high school.... and I can't wait to see you guys again. Thanks for taking the time to read this!
UPDATE: Got married for the LAST time on June 13th. She is awesome, and i CANNOT wait for you all to meet her.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
