Today's Featured Biography
Andrew Gammuto
I admit to offering little of genuine interest to others.
Since the age of fourteen I have worked as a dishwasher, software developer, mercenary, project manager, lot boy, electronics technician, draftsman, press operator, industrial engineer, marketer, merchant seaman, IT professional, and grocery clerk. In no particular order.
I settled on the energy business and spent three years with Babcock and Wilcox Engineers in New York and after that 11 years with Constellation Energy in Baltimore.
Combining those skills and experience, I joined Microsoft in 1995, serving in a number of technical and management roles, eventually and inexplicably becoming a leader within it's prestigious developer evangelism organization known as DX.
After 20 years at Microsoft I decided to move on to a new opportunity in the non-profit world. I am now the CIO of the Arthritis Foundation.
Public speaking is a favorite activity of mine. Mostly because I enjoy twisting a fact in the service of my biased interests until it screams for mercy. I never put salt on food before tasting it and prefer Italian shoes. My dislikes are meatloaf, corduroy, and dwelling on the past. I'm drawn to water and have resided in several waterfront locations including the Jersey Shore, but cannot swim a stroke.
One of my favorite pastimes is restoring antique motorcycles and scooters from the 1950's and 60's. I also support several non-profit organizations dedicated to the preservation and protection of the habitats and migration routes of sea turtles and other marine animals.
Most importantly, through my business and personal travels to 37 countries in the past 25 years, I've acquired (but can't disclose) a plethora of alchemical and occult secrets known only to the Knights of Templar.
Departing Seattle in 2016, I now live in Atlanta with my beautiful and talented wife Michelle, who is a public relations executive. We share our home with two beloved dog-children, Lola, a French Bulldog and Luigi (Louie), an Italian Greyhound/Boston Terrier mix. Both are rescues.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
