Jerry Roegner
2013-Present: Retired and joined CLAIM (Christian Laymen Assisting International Missionaries), an organization that helps construct Churches in the United States and around the World through BIMI (Baptist International Missions Inc.).
So far I have been in:
Long Beach, California, building a new Church
Ringgold,Georgia, adding to the Facilities for the Deaf Ministry
St. Lucia, in the Caribbean expanding the size of existing structure
Roxas City, Philippines, for Disaster Recovery
Aztec, New Mexico, helping to complete a new structure enough for occupancy
1985-2013: Mechanical Technician; commercial and residential heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration. Experience includes trouble shooting, repairing, installation, and service of walk-in freezers, coolers, rooftop units, and residential equipment. Computer control equipment experience. Experience includes equipment at restaurants, shopping malls, churches, Police Departments, Libraries, Court Houses, and residential homes. Associate Member of Refrigeration Service Engineers Society. Certified as Heat Pump Specialist through that Foundation. Certified for Refrigerant Recovery\Recycle & Reclaim. U.S. Patent granted on Refrigerant Recovery Machine Design submitted to the U.S. Patent Office. Existing Prototype operational. U.S. Patent # 5,479,788.
1972-1985: Was self-employed as an Electrical Contractor which I currently hold a license for.
1967-1971: U.S. Naval Service; entered after high school. Advanced from Fireman Apprentice (E-1) to (E-5) Electrician Second Class Rating in first two years. Received Meritorious Unit Commendation Metal, Battle Efficiency E ribbon, and Vietnam Campaign Metal.

-Electriciansmate, Petty Officer E-5, Vietnam Veteran, Firefighter Training and Damage Control Party Leader.
-Amana Factory training for Residential and Commercial Microwave Ranges.
-Refrigeration Service Engineers Society Member since 1985
-Computer Control VAVVT Systems
-Variable Speed Heat Pump Certification
-Hydronic Systems
-Gas Certification Washington Gas Co.
-Northern Virginia Electrical Contractors Assoc. National Electrical Code Changes
-C.F.C. Reclaim & Recycle Refrigerant Certification
Special Interests:
- Between 1965-1967 was in Junior Achievement as a Company President, President of the Achievers Association, and member of the Speaker Corp ending as Master of Ceremonies for the year end dinner in 1967.
-Was a Board Member of the Decatur Illinois Jaycees in the 1970s
-President of the Prince William County Crime Prevention Council Executive Board for 3 terms 2010-2013
-Have been a Church Bus Driver for 40 years
