Today's Featured Biography
Tamara O'Bra* Laise
Kris and I have been married since 1994. We have two great kids who keep us very busy. Our son, Jacob, is in 4th grade & our daughter, Hannah, 1st grade. Jacob plays baseball, football and is in the Jump Rope Club at school. He is also involved in TAG, Talented and Gifted, at school. He loves to read and has a memory like an elephant! Hannah is a Brownie, jumps in the Jump Rope Club, takes dance class and plays tball. This summer will be her last with tball before she moves onto softball. Both kids attend the Young Astronauts Program held at the Neil Armstrong Museum (yes, Neil Armstrong is a Wapakoneta native!). They have fun with space, math, space exploration and much more.
I dabble in substitute teaching, PTO president duties, and many volunteering hours. I have been trying to keep my feet wet with my love of photography and have challenged myself to posting a photo a day at my site.... www.thatgirlsphotos.blogspot.com. I am also currently working on renewing my teaching certificate so once the kids are a bit older, I can teach full time. My husband is from eastern PA and we met at Eastern Illinois. He was working on his masters when I was still an undergrad. He currently works in a local hospital as the Sports Medicine Supervisor as well as providing the athletic training coverage for local high schools.
After graduating from Eastern Illinois, I lived in the area until I got married. I then lived in Lexington, KY until we moved to Ohio in 1998. When I return home to see my family, it always amazes me how much the area has grown.
Although I attended our ten year reunion, I look forward to our 20 year. See you then! Thanks to Pattie for the great work on the website.
