***A quick update since the Class Reunion** I'm excited to announce we will be Grandparents. It's a BOY and due 1-11-11. Can't wait to hold him.*****Still living in Weiser since 1994.We just finished calving season. Our youngest son is the proud owner of Haines Cattle Co. It started out as a FFA project and we now have a new barn, fences, 24 cows and 2 bulls. Kolton graduated from Weiser High last May and is attending Treasure Valley Community College with a major in Agriculture Economics. We will be traveling back to Indianpolis in October where he will receive his American degree during the National Convention. He is currently working in the Manns Creek area for an Elk Ranch.
Lyndon our oldest graduated last May from Boise Bible College with his 4 year degree in Preaching. He is currently the Youth Pastor in Fruitland. He is the Weiser Rural Fire Department Chaplain. He got married last July to a local Weiser girl, Stacy Stuart.They live in town. He wants to be a full time firefighter soon.
My husband of almost 25 years, Bob has worked at the prison located outside of Ontario, Oregon for 13 years now. Like he says," It's a job." He has worked very hard to turn our 5 acres into a mini ranchette. Not my words. He loves to mow the lawn and keep all the gophers and weeds away from our property. He is still the love of my life. We are renewing our vows in August and our our oldest son will be officiating. Really looking forward to this special time in McCall. In November we are heading back to Cancun, Mexico for another celebration at an all-inclusive resort that is fabulous.
I have found my niche in the work place. After working in the Nursing field for 25 years, I have found what areas I like and which ones I prefer not to repeat. I am now employed as a Nurse Marketer for a Home Health agency. The Corp office is in Nampa. My territory is Fruitland, Ontario, Weiser, Nyssa, Vale, Payette, Parma, Cambridge, Midvale,Council, Huntington and Baker City area. I get paid to talk. Everybody knows how I love the Senior Citizens and my passsion for match making. I get paid to match sick patients up with our skilled professional Healthcare Staff. I just took at work a personality test and scored 10 out of 10 in the extrovert column. No one was surprised with these results.
I look forward to greeting everyone Friday night. Please come prepared to have a relaxed evening of fun and fellowship with
your classmates from the great Class of 1980. Hope to see everyone safe and sound. I will praying for safe travel for all.
