Today's Featured Biography
Brandon Longhurst
After graduating from High School I worked for Coca-Cola for about 9 months before I left to serve an LDS mission in the California, Arcadia Mission. It was a great two years that presented a lot of growth and learning opportunities for me. It was a great mission, and I had a lot of success in sharing my beliefs with people in East Los Angeles and surrounding areas.
Soon after I returned home from my mission I planned to attend BYU-Idaho for school, but I didn't plan on meeting my wife so soon. We met in July of 2000 and were married in July of 2001. I was set up on a blind date by my cousin and from that point on it was nothing but good times, saving for a ring, paying for a wedding and so forth. My wife’s name is Ginger and she is from Florida / Coeur d 'Alene. She spent 10 years in both locations, most recently from Boca Raton, FL. She is great and fun to be around. She is a dental hygienist and a photographer. We both have a lot of hobbies and work going on all the time.
In the spring of 2004, I graduated from BYU-Idaho with Bachelor's degree in Business Management with and emphasis in finance. That led me in numerous places - a job offer in Manhattan, New York, with Goldman Sachs, a job offer in South Carolina with Wachovia Securities, and a job offer locally with American Express. I choose to stay local (because of the great snowmobiling , my family, and friends) and worked for American Express and Cornerstone Financial Group. After a couple of years in the financial business, I realized that my real dream and desire was to work in Real Estate, so I jumped ship and started working with a local builder and WinStar Realty. So today I work closely with Regal Construction and we build beautiful new homes for many families, and I sell all kinds of property. I am a real estate agent so basically I sell all kinds of real estate. Ginger and I recently built a new home and we live in Ivan's Acres / Woodbridge - just north of Hitt road and 1st street in Idaho Falls. We are having a great time in the new home and we are just getting started on our landscaping. What a lot a work a home can be - especially a new one. In the meantime I have started another business called Vinyl Creations Inc., it is a Vinyl Fence, Handrail, and Decking business. My dad and I are pretty much partners with different business entities. His name is Superior Fence L.L.C. and we work together quite a bit, with the help of my little brother Chris. It has really turned into a great family business.
Anyway, what a busy life I have as you can see. I look forward to seeing all of you that attend the reunion and I hope this gives you a small glimpse of what has transpired in my life over the last 10 years.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
