Remember Class of 1973 . . . Wear sunscreen . . . if it's not too late.
Remember this little song? As I looked at the yearbook pictures, I thought of it.

Today's Featured Biography
Debby Outland Chaloupka
I didn’t go to college right after graduation. I worked at the Public Library in Idaho Falls and then moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the late summer of 1974 and stayed through March 1975. For you football fans, that was the year the Steelers won their first Super Bowl and I was there! What a fun time.
I moved back to Idaho Falls and then on to Pocatello where I attended Idaho State University for one year. I met my first husband in Pocatello and we moved to Grand Junction, Colorado where my son was born. We divorced and my son & I moved back to Pocatello and I was a single parent for the next 12 years.
Twenty years ago I moved to Rapid City, South Dakota. It was a familiar place because every year we came here for our summer vacation. My mother grew up here and I finally had a lot of family (aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents) around which I never had before.
I met Roger in 1992. We both enjoy the outdoors, camping, hiking, boating, swimming, scuba diving, golf, and traveling. Roger came with me to our 25th class reunion so some of you got to met him. After 13 years of living together, we finally decided to make it legal and got married in 2005.
I have a granddaughter, Melody, who is 7 and she spends a lot of time with us. She is the light of my life. We have two dogs, two cats and two parakeets. We have a boat that we keep at Pactola Reservoir in the summer. We traded up last summer and went from a tent to a camper. There are beautiful golf courses in the Black Hills. Life is good.
I still have not decided what I want to be when I grow up. I just recently changed jobs. I was an office manager and coder at an ambulatory surgical center for 16 years and am now I am revenue cycle coordinator for Regional Medical Clinics. We have 16 clinics that I work with and I get to travel all over Western South Dakota.
I have worked at over 30 jobs and lived in nine different cities in six different states. My life certainly has not been dull and boy, do I have some stories to pass on!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
