Today's Featured Biography
Erica Marcum Borrowman
This is so funny...my husband and I were googling our names for kicks (sad, I know), and this URL came up saying that I was "missing". From Snake River High, no less. I kinda thought I was always missing from SRHS (since I didn't officially attend!), but it rang true for me. I have always felt I missed out not staying in Snake River for my high school years. It was thrilling for me to add a bio and to read several of yours. A great Sunday afternoon activity!
I haven't been to one of your reunions since the five-year and wish I had attended. Those in charge have always extended an invitation, and it has been unfortunate that I haven't attended. Maybe the 25th!
My husband and I live in West Point, Utah with our two teenage kids, Jordan and Alyssa. Jordan is finishing high school this year and moving to Seattle to work this summer. Our daughter works at the Layton Mall and is involved in sports (she's WAY better than I ever was at that...gets it from her dad!). She attends the new Syracuse High School, and is doing the "teen thing" balancing work, school, fun, friends, church, etc. Our son is just trying to figure out "what next" until time for a mission (we're hoping it's not too difficult to figure out).
Bryan works for a local refrigerated trucking company, so he's gone quite a bit. He's also a real estate agent, though, things haven't been as busy as we'd like. We see him 1-3 days a week and we love those days! We are approaching our 20 year anniversary this summer which is a great accomplishment. Marriage isn't easy, but it certainly has it's rewards.
I am currently employed at the Corporate Offices of Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake working as a Database Administrator for the Real Estate Department. It's a rewarding job and I work with absolutely the best people. The commute sucks (are we allowed to say that on this site??), but with all the wireless technology I can start work on the bus and get to leave early. I also own my own website design company and build sites for real estate agents across the country. My business has slowed down some in the last six months and I'm grateful. Life has to slow down! I work as First Counselor in the Primary Presidency in our ward and love it - most of the time. Ha ha.
It's great to read about so many of you - to catch up with some of my favorite people. It's been a significant amount of time since I've seen most of you, but am grateful for the early memories I have. It's been longer for me since SR, but living in Snake River was truly a highlight of my life. I've recently run into a few of you and had a great time recalling memories and finding out what you're up to. To find out that so many of you are living close!
For those of you who know my parents - we visit them a lot in the Insane Asylum...you know what raising a daughter and seven sons can do to you (ok - just the daughter would have done it!!!) Just kidding. They live in Rexburg. Dad recently retired from teaching at BYU-I, but they caught him there. Called as Stake President just a few months ago. My mom teaches at Madison High. Three of my brothers are married with between 4 and 5 kids each. And, if all goes as planned, three or four more will be married in the next year (hope, hope).
Anyway, I've probably gotten carried away. I'm really just a guest, but thanks so much for letting me be a part of your class still. I consider all of you friends and look forward to connecting with as many of you as possible. Feel free to email anytime!
Good luck to each of you - take care!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
