Classmates Conspiring for A 65th Reunion Next Year |
|
|
With the 65th anniversary of our graduation from Decorah High School coming up next year, several of our classmates are itching to organize a reunion of all who are free to gather in our great home town in late summer or early fall of next year.
Watch your snail-mail and your email in the weeks ahead for a solicitation of interest in a 2018 reunion. Help us find the 11 classmates who have gone into hiding and call or email all of your friends among the 62 survivors of our reunion two years ago.

Today's Featured Biography
Patricia Pluess Mumme
I graduated from Burlington Community College (Now Southeastern Comm. College) in 1971 as a LPN; 1975 From Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny, as a Health Care Administrator. Spent 28 years as Administrator in Facilities in Southeast Iowa. Filled in as a nurse when staff did not report as scheduled.
Retired on July 23, 1999. Moved to Abilene, TX., where my husband and I spent 11 years doing Federal Tax Returns for the elderly and low-income people as AARP volunteers. Missed Iowa, so moved back to Burlington, IA., built a new home on 12 acres we had not sold when we went to Texas.
Loved living in the country, but when my husband became ill, we had to move back into town, and a short time later he was in Hospice House for 3 months and passed away. We were short 15 days of being married for 58 years. He was the greatest husband anyone could ask for.
Living alone now and not liking it is no fun. We used to travel a lot. Covered all 50 states, Canada coast to coast, Maritime Provinces 4 times, Newfoundland twice, England, Scotland, Wales, Finland, Mexico and Costa Rico.
