Today's Featured Biography
Sylvia Duncan Perreira
Mrs. Dembo of the Office Education Class gave me some great inspiration in entering the administration filed of business. It carried me into working during my senior year at Rapid Blueprint until graduating. Then I moved on to the Hawaii Blueprint Company until 1970 when I entered the food induratry. The Jolly Rogers chain of resaturants from 1970 until they liquidated in 1997 would be my home for 27 years. I rejoined the Sizzler chain with the new owners Gary and Carol Sallee who purchased the stores from the liquidation sale of Jolly Rogers. I was with them for 7 years and moved to Kennys' Restaurant in 2004. I went from an accounting clerk, to an executive assitant. I continue to work in the restaurant operation as well as daily accounting, HR, sales, catering, and the balance of administration work. I enjoy singing, painting, dancing, the outdoors and nautre. I've dabbled a little in crafts and would like to start a small business but I'm still feeling unstable. I wrote a brag book and entered several of my poems in a contest. One did get published in a Libaray of Poems edition. I have two sons, one daughter, and five grandchildren. I lost my Mom this past March of 2007 who had Alzheimers for several years. I still help care for my dad who is retired. I help my friends and family as much as I can and I have God with me forever. I have been to the Sedona mountains and the Maui Lavender fields. I try to visit the ocean and walk daily. I go to visit my ancestors as much as possible at the Pali. Life is just too, too short to waste time. Enjoy every minute possible with peace and harmony. God Bless.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
