Today's Featured Biography
Tom Atkinson
30 minutes to write a biography does not seem right.
Finished high school at Kenwood, went to Jr. College, finished degrees in Forestry and Wildlife Management. Went to work for UGA School of Forest Rescources, traveled all over the South East USA, and returned home, working for a local timber company.
Lived in Carrollton, appraising timber during day, in school in evening.
Went for a retirement party of the Principal of Kenwood and met the most beutiful woman I had ever seen.
I married that woman 14 months later. The best thing that I have ever done.
I finished School at West Georgia, Biology with Chemistry, and it is crazy but my job uses all of the stuff that was taught in school!
2 kids later and I have worked for the Environmental Protection Division of DNR for the past 9 years, Boy that sounds like a long time!!!
I am not the person I was when at South Cobb, Growing up takes time, growing old always keeps its own time, and it is steady.
