Walter Crockett

I stayed around Augusta until 1986 at which time I enlisted onto the Army to work in Aircraft Maintenance / Flight Crew Duties (Helicopters).I served during both Gulf Wars (First Gulf War 1990 and the Second War in that region 11 Sep 01). I retired from service on 1 Sep 2006 out of Korea, employed by L3 Communications CREW and was back in Iraq on 8 Sep 2006. Left my family in Korea and worked in Iraq with installing countermeasure equipment on military vehicles for one year ... returned to Korea and presently working for L3 Communications C2S2. Presently I am working on Tactical computer systems and software and it keeps me pretty busy. I guess that once you belong to the government ... you always belong to the government one way or another ... I can't complain ... it has been a good life thus far.

I want to say hello to everyone and I hope as well that all is well with you and yours. I do not believe that I will be able to make it to this Class Reunion due to me living in Korea ... but I have much hope that I will be able to better plan and attend for the next one, hoping and praying that we are all blessed enough to continue our journey in each other's company. I can be found on facebook as well with a few pictures of me in my younger days in the military. I do hope to see you all again in the future.
