Life has been an incredible journey since high school! After graduating from UCONN Nursing School, I have worked and lived in 3 states: Connecticut, California, and Florida. Having lived in Pensacola, FL since 1991, I now consider myself a southern girl with (true) Yankee roots. Pensacola is about an hour's drive from Mobile and we are jokingly referred to as L.A. - lower Alabama. The area here is famous for it's beautiful beaches and is known as "the Emerald Coast". I love my job...I work as a RN in a very busy Labor & Delivery and help run their Obstetrical ER/triage. Sacred Heart Hospital is the only high risk (level 3) Woman's hospital in the whole panhandle - we cover the area from Alabama to Panama City! I also started my own business as a Legal Nurse Consultant. I am very proud of my 2 wonderful children: my daughter Andrea is married to Josh, a cryptologist in the Navy, and they have given me 3 beautiful grandchildren. My son Michael was in the Air Force for 5 years and is now currently using his GI Bill to go to University of West Florida. My best friend and husband, Lucky, is a Pensacola native and very well known for his musical talents - he's a great drummer and keyboard player- and also owns a recording studio that has definitely seen lots of talent (some of it famous!)come thru it's doors. My parents moved here 5 years ago. My brother Dan lives here in Pensacola and my sister lives in Orlando so I don't get much opportunity to visit Connecticut.
