Today's Featured Biography
Claudia Ziemer Widick
Life is good. Following NHS graduation, My cousin Lillian Thompson (also NHS '59) and I attended Hollywood Beauty School in Denver.
I then returned to Pinedale, Wyo., married Don, and lived in several towns following his Wyo. Highway Dept. engineering career, and adding Melissa Dawn and Mark Dayton to make us a family of four.
We moved to Arizona in 1967 with the Bur. of Land Mgmt., living in Kingman and Phoenix until 1976 when we transferred to Washington D.C. Back to Phoenix in 1980 where we still live.
I worked in major dept. stores as a cosmetic consultant in Phoenix, and retired in 1997 when Don retired.
Son Mark (Cathy) is a fireman in Apache Jct. and has 3 boys, 19,15,& 13, who are the delights of our lives. They live close by.
Daughter Misty (Salek) is a supervisory engr. for the USFS in Tucson and was recently honored as Mgmt Engr. of 2008 in D.C.
We travel frequently and manage to spend several weeks at a time to experience the area we visit. We started with a pick-up camper, then a motorcycle, then travel trailers, and more recently via auto and vacation rentals.
