After being peniless, I had a "Paul-like" born again experience at age 22 (while framing a house with an Amish minister). Many miracles have happened since. I was a bartender (when I gave up drinking and smoking), asked the employer to change me to a short-order cook, then apple picker, bus driver, and high school (private academy) teacher, before God gave me a sign to go to Medical School. After Residency, I was married at age 37 (my first and only time),then 3 years with my wife at a mission project in Monument Valley, UT, before moving to my present home near Ft. Worth, Texas. We had 2 biological children shortly after getting married (after I had been told I was infertile 5 years previously!) They are now 19 and 17.
I have worked as a Family Practice (and Alternative Medicine) Physician and ER physician (moonlighting) for 15 years. I helped start HOPE medical missions, for overseas missions and continue to work at 2 HOPE free clinics for the poor in Texas. I enjoy gardening (used the Mittleider Method for an abundant crop this year on the Texas clay). I love Jesus! He has blessed me greatly, and in the last 35 years, never 2 weeks have gone by that I haven't learned something new about Him or his book, the Bible. I have grown to a much clearer understanding of the prophesies of Daniel (the 1260 day, the 70 week, and the 2300 day prophecies), also issues like "what really happens when you die", and the Spirit of the 10 Commandments, including Sabbath reform. The Bible has been a source of much growth for me.
My greatest remorse about high school is degraded conversations.
I know I'm not alone in this, but nonetheless, I ask for your forgiveness for this, for bad pride, and for general negativity during those years. That was the old person, and I am a different person now, thanks to Jesus, our friend, our brother, our Creator, our Saviour, our Redeemer! I still have many faults, but try to grow in Him... the source of any good thing that is encountered in life. The reason I share this is because I have found the purpose of life is to honor God, and to help anyone who doesn't know Him to FIND him....its the number 1 thing a person can do in life, among many distractions and agendas! So that is why I have used this platform. Thanks for reading! If you have any questions about Medical issues, gardening, the Bible, or life in general, please contact me....I'm always happy to help if I can, and love conversations on these topics.
Our home is always open, if we are here and you are passing through.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
