Today's Featured Biography
Melissa McLatchie Epler
I still can't believe we are quickly approaching the 20 yr. mark. Over the last five years, I have been the local sales rep. for Sony Computer Entertainment of America. The job has been a blessing because it has been just what I needed to take care of my wonderful 12 yr. old son who now attends Cheyenne Mtn Jr. High. Many people may remember that I married my high school sweetheart and the love of my life, Rick Epler. I tell you with a heavy heart that Brent and I lost our beloved husband and father to cancer just four years ago. In Rick's memory, I became a member of the planning commitee for the the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Jeff and Christy Lobato also volunteer at the annual walks (Jeff leading the way:)to help support this great cause in Rick's memory. However, life has to go on and time heals (slowly). Just last month I got engaged to a very sweet man named... yes, named Rick. It is a little bothersome that they have the same name but hey, Rick is a great name! I just wanted to warn you so you don't think I flubbed up when I'm introducing him. He is a C/S training police officer and he knew and loved Rick as well. He treats me and my son with a lot of love and respect. Look forward to seeing all of you again:) Melissa
