After working at the Corbin Village McDonalds and later a Radio Shack kind of place (called IFA Colorvision on Reseda Blvd., I enlisted in the Army in November '70 [Army Security Agency] and spent a year tour in Sinop, Turkey. After Sinop, I was reassigned to Pyong Teak, Korea (was better than going to Viet Nam). While in Korea, I met my first wife and got married in December 1973.
I reenlisted for the Army's Medical Maintenance School (Denver, CO) in October 1974, where I graduated top in my class in Dec 1975. While there, my first daughter (Cherish Ann) was born in March '75. I was then assigned to Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington D.C. where my first son Glenn T. Space II (Tommy) was born in 1977.
In November '79, I was appointed (while still in Korea) to Warrant Officer-1. I was reassigned to Fort Lewis, Washington as the Detachment Commander of the 49th Medical (Maintenance) Detachment.
I divorced my first wife in 1984 and Married my current wife, Nan, in Oct 1986. We have a daughter (Cheyenne Marie) born in 1989 and a son (John Glenn) born in 1991.
I retired after 29 years in the Army in 1999 as a Chief Warrant Officer-4, and finally planted roots in the Great Northwest (Puyallup, WA).
But timing was right for me, for I am still working at Madigan as a System Administrator for a Automated Medical Supply Dispensing System (Made by OmniCell).

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
