I was born in Bradenton, Florida in 1939. My parents divorced in 1946 and we moved to Katonah, New York and lived at, The Baily Hall School, where my grandmother was the head nurse for mentally challenged boys. My mother became employed there as she was studying to become a nurse. Our family lived at the school and I attended elementary school in Katonah. The school was beautiful and families of affluence brought their boys, from all over the world for lodging and learning. My family moved from New York to Ventura in 1948. Mother wanted to raise her children close to her twin brothers and finish her schooling. Grandma retired and bought a home close to the family. I attended Mill Elementary School, Port Hueneme Elementary School, Ventura Jr. High School, Anacapa High School, and Ventura High School. I married at 16 and worked hard after a divorce to raise my five children, and finish my schooling. My desire to acquire a doctorate in nutrition and was met with many challenges. I believe GOD answered my prayers and sent Dr. Stephen Peltekof, a Doctor of Education, and a space engineer, to help me. After a difficult struggle, I received a Doctor of Philosophy in Nutrition. Thanks to Dr. Peltekof, who designed my course, plus many correspondence courses and degree programs for Cooks Institute of Electronics in Jackson, Mississippi. And was also instrumental in teaching innovative ways to help with the Space Program at Vandenberg Air Force Base. Plus the author of such books as: Conquest of Space, The Science of Living, Forty Years in Exile, Commitment to Excellence, Increasing Human Effectiveness, What Every Leader Should Know and others. Dr. Peltekof dedicated himself to my private education for many years. I was fortunate to have a devoted teacher, mentor, and friend. Before retiring, I had offices in Lompoc, and Solvang. I have 5 lovely children, 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Most of my family live close, although six live in Hawaii and one lives in Washington. I retired in 2004 and moved to Montecito, CA., to be with my daughter Carla and her family. I hope our classmates will enjoy this web site. My daughter Carla, and Bill Halderman have done the web work. Please join in and see how big our class can build this site. It will be loads of fun to read the different things about each other as the site grows. Best of all it is free. All classes of 50 years or more are FREE, other wise it would be 15.00 each month. Carla found this site one evening while working on her Class site. Bye for now Carol.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
