Erika Bonanno Montez
Hello Class of 1998...it's been a while...lets see, I got married in November of 2000 to the love of my life, Emmanueal (Manny) Montez, also a lifelong resident of Pittsburg. We have been married for almost 7 years and we have four children together, yes I said four! I was delighted to find out in 2000 that I was pregnant with fraternal twins, yes how exciting...Victor & Nicholas or as we know them, Vic & Nic, were born on February 1, 2001 and I became a mother. I then went back to school in 2002 to become a Medical Assistant, which I completed and then worked for Kaiser in Antioch. Later that year I gave birth to my third child, Isabella. Boy can I say she is a handful, she is my payback to the fullest! I decided to be a stay at home mother after she was born and then last year; June 2006, I had my fourth child, another little boy, Gaetano. I am employed through the Pittsburg Unified School District as a sub and work when I want to, but for the most part I am enjoying the time I have with my children and watching them grow up is all I could ever hope for. I take everything with a grain of salt and just want to enjoy every minute I have here.
So...in my spare time, if you can believe I have it, I decided to start making preparations for a 10 year reunion! I am so excited to be doing this and it is going to be such a blast to see all of you next year when we celebrate what we thought was freedom 10 years ago and we soon found out was LIFE! Hope this finds all of you well and talk to you all soon.
