Today's Featured Biography
Rosie Merryman
I graduated Mid-Term from Hueneme and completed college in 1981
Divorced in 1980, was employed by JCPenney Company from 1979 to 1994 as a Loss Prevention Manager. Recruited by Broadway Stores in 1994 as it was bought out by Macy'S Department Stores. I remained with Macy's as a Senior Executive Security Manager and worked closely on embezzlement and fraud cases with the District Attorney's Office until 1998.
Made a career change, I have always tinkered with electronics, and I put together my first computer in 1992, I now work for Ross Perot's Information Technology Company called Perot Systems. I started as an Assistant Administrator for five hospitals in Oxnard, Camarillo, Santa Maria, French and Arroyo Grande. I'm now a Project Management Facilitator for all Information Technology related Health Care Projects, and I indeed travel.
My side business is Pre-Paid Legal, and A-1 Karaoke/DJ Entertainment. I still love to sing! Used to be a Patsy Cline Inpersonator, for TCB Entertainment Comany, and have performed for some very nice famous people very down to earth! I have met Naomi Judd, John Ritter, Linda Perl, Al Pacino, Whayne Newton.
I'm currently on the Board of Directors for the City of Oxnard -St. John's Employee's Federal Credit Union, and I volunteer for the American Cancer Society.
I've enjoyed life since I changed careers, and love to go on cruise's! I never moved out of the Ventura County, except to live in Malibu for a while, and now love living at Oxnard Shores at the beach!
My son is currently living in Washington D.C. and I visit when I can. I'm currently single. I would love for anyone who remembers me from High School to contact me.
