Those of you who knew me in High School knew me as Mark Green.
I was one of the nerds who essentially lived in the quad all through high school ~ almost never walking around the main lunch yard, not participating in school sports or activities ~ and I kept a somewhat low profile.
Chalk it all up to my not being able to accept who I was at the time, and so not thinking any of you would accept me back then, either: a young gay boy totally freaked out about my life, not even close to ready to accept myself, and doing my very, very best to hide from it everyone, including myself. I had my nose in a book almost my entire high school career. Books are a great way to escape.
The process of coming out, and then later, coming to fully accept myself, has led to a great many things in my life, and ultimately to the work I do in the world today. I am grateful for the unfolding journey, for all the love and support I have received, and for who I have become and continue to become in the process.
I'm now (in 2018) a happy, content 51-year-old man with my own business that is growing more successful in making a difference in the lives of others. Single, and focused so much on publishing two books that love would have to smack me over the head for me to notice. Once the books are out, that may change. We'll see.
I love working out at the gym, I love my work, and I love our world.
I'm often in Marin these days, usually about once a week. That will change, once the books come out, as I begin traveling to promote them and the work I do.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
