Today's Featured Biography
Kenny Hedgpeth
I was first enrolled at Rancho Alamitos 1972-73 for the 9th grade and the first half of the 10th grade, then went to live with my Dad in Paramount. I came back to Rancho for the 12th grade 1975-76, but left again before graduating ... what a dumb mistake. but I did graduate in the spring of '76 from Lincoln Adult Education ... guess I was in too big of a hurry to join the working world :/
While attending Paramount High, I was in the ROP working at Paramount General Hospital as a medical assistant ... I was the first and only guy in the class both years :)
I attended Cypress College briefly in '86-87 - graduated from Balin Institute of Technology in '87 ...
I ended up in Civil Engineering [AutoCad operator] drawing pictures on the computer. but only after several career changes, ie. general labor, grocery clerk with Thriftimart, warehouse dock worker with Jerseymaid Milk Products, back to school 1987 Balin Institute of Technology, and here I am now. [update] The previous company I was with ASL Consulting Engineers was purchased by an international company "Tetra Tech Inc." Where I help out with the design of water projects, ie. wells, piping, reservoirs, booster pump stations ... after 16 years I am presently with a smaller engineering company again :) Civiltec ...
Some where along the line I had a short lived political career in the early 90's. First tried to help out with the forming of the city of Jurupa, in Northwest Riverside County, [sadly we lost]. Then I was Elected to the board of directors of the Rubidoux Community Service District, but after almost a year had to resign, due to moving outside of the district boundary. Don't know how I got from inhalation therapist to where I am now? I guess like shifting winds, carried here and there.
Family: I have a son Joseph 24, a daughter Sarah 20, along with 4 nephews and 4 nieces ...baseball and soccer are their dominate genes :)
what do I do in my spare time: currently arm chair family tree / genealogy research on the internet mostly ... and when ever I can get away, enjoy cemetery hunting and checking out those musty old court house vaults :)
I had a short lived political career and won a seat on the Rubidoux Community Services District in 1994 located out in North-west Riverside County, I got to vote on a 10 million dollar infrastructure bond before having to resign [I moved out side of the Districts Boundary] ...
I am one of the founding members of isogg.org the International Society of Genetic Genealogy, in 9 months time we were over 1,700 members representing 29 countries ...
hey does anyone find any truth in this statement ?
"One of the advantages of being disorderly is that one is constantly making exciting discoveries" ...
ok good, so I am not the only one having senior moments already ... LOL

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
