Charlene Golloher Wolters

I met Rick Thomas in May of 1969 at our church camp in Prescott, AZ. We married in July 1972. He was in the US Navy and off I went to California. What an exciting life I have lead. We had our daughter Scherie when we came back from 2 years in the Philippines. Then we moved to Virginia in 1981. We sadly divorced after 9 years of marriage. I met Ed Price and we married in 1983. He was in the Navy also. We had our daughter Barbara in 1984. I thought it would be fun to,have my own bakery. So we opened up a shop. It was allot of hard work and fun! About 9 months later the neighborhood supermarket opened up a bakery inside its store and we could not compete with it so sadly we had to close. In 1989 Ed was having heart problems and the Navy decided they couldn't use him anymore so now where to live. I wanted the girls to know family and we decided to move back to AZ. Ed was from Kentucky. So we moved. I went to work for Sears telacatalog. Ed was on disability. Then I was asked my family if I'd like to,take care of their elderly parents. YES! I found my dream job... So for the next 20 years I took care of the elderly. Ed and I divorced in 1997. Scherie graduated from Santa Rita High School that year. She joined the US Army. I dated and met some nice people. In 2010 Scherie's family was living in the Phoenix area and she was called up from the reserves. She just had their son Thomas. So I came to stay and take care of my 2 granddaughter s and new grandson when she went to Iraq. One night I was thinking of an old friend of Ed and mine . Roy... I wonder what happened to him. I found him on Facebook. He had never remarried and he said he had always had been envious of what Ed had in me. Asked if he had a chance? Oh my gosh... Well he lives in Pennsylvania and I live with my daughter in Arizona! We had not seen each other in 30 years! To make a long story short we have been married a year now.. My dreams have come true!
Oh I have 5 grand children who I dearly LOVE!
