Today's Featured Biography
Daniel Haver
I didn’t get a chance to catch up with everyone at the reunion so here is a quick bio. After high school, I attended ASU and got my BS in Electrical Engineering. After ASU, I made it up to Ann Arbor, Michigan where I followed up with my Masters degree, enjoyed the cold weather, and met my wife Michele. After graduating, we made it to Dallas, Texas for my first real job at Texas Instruments where I worked as a semiconductor Product Engineer. While there I completed my MBA at SMU and thought it would be fun to join the dot.com craze so, in 2000, joined a small startup out in Silicon Valley and have been living here ever since. Unfortunately the company went under after about a year so I took a job at Sun Microsystems for a few years and eventually moved over to SAP, a German based software company focused on enterprise application software. I have been at SAP for the last couple of years and currently work in their Palo Alto office as a Market Development Director in the Emerging Technologies group.
Personally, Michele and I just had our first child! Lucas Robert Haver was born in June and has been doing great ever since. We have a cat (Ozzy) and a dog (Max) and recently moved to a new home in Los Gatos, California - on the border of San Jose as you make your way to Santa Cruz. Michele and I keep active with hikes, running, and triathlons. We have also been involved with the German Shepherd Rescue organization for the last few years although, with Lucas, it has been harder to help out. I spend the bulk of my time with work but also spend my time hanging out with Lucas, visiting with friends/family, and keeping up with the latest and greatest in the tech industry. I am also a big sports fan (go Devils, Wolverines), enjoy keeping up with local news/politics, and have been playing the guitar for the last 15 years.
