For someone who moved out at 15, lived a life assisted by Brince Camp, David Ward and few others who knew my real life, it makes me happy and surprised that this much time has passed and I am still here. Grateful to say the least, amazed that people like Gina and Jan and many others took the time to make me feel at ease after moving back home here from California. Spradlin Family were a big help. There were so many who let me live an almost normal life even though I was living a life that was full of abandonment and fear I would not wish on any child. I did not always show the respect to the families and friends who helped me but please know that my life would have been much shorter had it not been for you. One event stands out in my mind that hurts my heart more than any other. Without getting into too many details, let me just say that Brince Camp and his loving mother(R.I.P. Mrs. Camp) really were having to deal with the most inconsiderate me I have ever been, and I was disrespectful and I cannot tell her now how much I appreciated all she did for me, in heaven, I cannot wait to hug her and apologize. And Brince took me under his wing and God Bless him for years later seeing that my regret never left me. I can only pray for his forgiveness, it matters so much to me.
I have worked television , radio, still do a little radio, but for the most part a patrol car wreck in Faulkner County on Easter morning in a Church parking lot resulted in 29 surgeries, but none of those things can take away from the friends I have reconnected with through facebook. My son is starting college a year early to be a Doctor, and he has been home schooled for 8 years so lets hope his teacher did his job right. He plays guitar, is a blackbelt, good looking kid, no alcohol, no drugs, just a big heart. Thanks again for all those who showed compassion to me when few knew my real circumstances. And one more thing, I will always miss Katie McKinney, I do not know the gentleman she married's last name, but you married well. She will always be in my heart, as well as her husband, family and children. Always. I have never been to a reunuion because I went to the Navy and apparently since then all of the states I have lived in have caused my clothes to shrink dramatically. But when it comes down to it, it is the you on the inside that matters, not the appearance from the outside, althought it is unfair that some of you do not look a day older....DO feel guilty if you are one of those.. And when your children marry, I hope to be the dj at their weddings, grandchildrens birthday parties, YOUR 50th birthday celebrations, my will be a 15th anniversary of my 35th birthday when those magic number hit the half century mark for you. If you would like to hear your name or tell a story on the radio, email me and I will surely read it 10-2 saturdays, on y107 my kssn and the point 94.1 days and working with John Lee and Kevin Clay are over, but they throw me that little saturday bone bringing this, including my time with Casey Kasem in Los Angeles, to 33 years on the radio. Love to your families, and thanks for making it possible for me to have one. My one son, I have to say is closer to me than I ever thought anyone could ever be, and I am enduring such separation anxiety over him going to college, it keeps me awake most nights till 4 am. He is everything I wish I could have wished to be at his age, My wife of 19 years this year, wow, who could tollerate me that long, she will be a confirmed Saint Elizabeth when the time comes. Mistakes? I made all of them once or twice, but managed to be lucky enough not to be caught until I outgrew that stage. Dean Lee Denton, Gina Parker and I all were in Los Angeles at the same time and while we did not know it, were all in the entertainment industry, Dean has been on a lot of tv shows and movies, and you should check out his website www.deanleedenton.com you will be pleasantly surprised. Thanks Haynes Johns who got me on the radio at age 15, and thanks to my family who took me to drive 20 laps at Texas Motor Speedway in a Nascar cup car at 180 mph passing and being passed by my own 70 year old father, wow, that helped me allow others to drive me after having someone else drive me into that oak tree. Plus I love Nascar and go to the Talladega race every year for 12 years now. My life, thanks to the warmth and inviting friends I have not seen in so many years are the reason I say, even though I was put out of a motor home on my 13th birthday in Kansas when I lived in California with ten dollars in my pocket...still has had the best life of anyone ever and Thank God daily for it. And God, if you are reading this, please forgive some of the things Redd Foxx and I did at the Casino in Vegas...they were meant to be funny, not to be hurtful. Does anyone else suffer from the disease I have? IT is the one where you think you still look like you did at 15-20, and then you walk past a mirror and reality reaches out and slaps you smack in the face....I found a cure, stay away from mirrors.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
