Today's Featured Biography
Katrina Winborn
Hi, everyone. It’s very nice to get a chance to see other’s bios and find out what y’all have been up to during the past 20 years. Wow, twenty years.
I’m living in Ft. Collins, Colorado, with my husband, Calvin. We moved here in 2003 from Baton Rouge, so he could pursue a PhD in civil engineering and so we could play in the mountains while we’re still young. I’ve got a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering (Univ. of AR, Fayetteville), a master’s in environmental policy and management (Univ. of Denver), and I work for a small consulting firm as an air quality engineer. I'm also happy to report that I've just been appointed by the City Council as the newest member of the Ft. Collins Air Quality Advisory Board, and I'm really super-excited for a chance to use my experience in the public sector. I’ve lived all over, mostly in Fayetteville, Minneapolis, Denver, Baton Rouge, and Ft. Collins, since high school, and you can count me in with those who have been through a divorce. I got married in 1991 to a guy from Little Rock, and we divorced in 1998. Calvin and I got married in 2002 in Louisiana, and we’ll be celebrating our 5th anniversary over the AHS reunion weekend. Oh, and for all you high school band nerds (like me) out there...I'm still a band nerd. I play my clarinet in a local volunteer concert band, and it's lots of fun!

UPDATE: I changed jobs back in Dec '07. I'm no longer working for a small consulting firm. Instead, I'm now working for a gigantic (60,000 employees) engineering firm (URS Corp.). I changed the company link and phone number on my profile.
