Today's Featured Biography
Cindy Moon Williams
WOW! Hard to believe it has already been 20 years...seems like we just had our 10 year reunion not too long ago.
Here's my life in a nutshell...
After graduation I went to Arkansas Tech University and got my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
Moved on to Western Illinois University where I earned my Master of Science degree in College Student Personnel.
Right out of grad school, I accepted the Director of Student Activities position at Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas. Boy, was it great to get back South!!! Married (and divorced) while there...loved my job and my students, but needed to move on after the big D. Many of you may remember that at our 10 year reunion my divorce had just been final, I was unemployed, and I had begrudgingly (and at the time, only temporarily) moved back to Alma...you know, feeling pretty much like a loser in life at the time.
Well, God is so good! After the reunion I accepted the Director of Student Activities position at UA-Fort Smith, got reacquainted with my old stomping grounds and many old friends, married Ricky Williams (Mountainburg Class of 1982), built a house, started a family, and then left education for a career in the family business!
I am now a Vice-President for Time Striping, Inc. and love my work handling all of the human resources functions as well as accounting and what ever else they throw my way. Ricky and I have two of the most amazing children...who knew being a Mom would be so rewarding?!?! John Paul is about to start 2nd grade at Alma Primary School and Elissa is starting pre-school at Kiddie Kollege. They grow up way too fast, but we sure have enjoyed every minute!
I can't wait to see everyone at the reunion. I hope everyone will fit this time into busy schedules...I really look forward to visting with each of you!
