Today's Featured Biography
AUTUMN SHEFFIELD HEICK
After graduation, I continued working at Winn Dixie, in various departments. I went to Wallace Community College, working on my 2 year degree and I began working as a Computer Teacher's Aide. I did not know what I wanted to study at a 4 year college and I didn't want to be working at a grocery store for the next 20 years, so I joined the Air Force in 1993 as a guaranteed Computer Programmer. I had basic training in San Antonio, Tx and tech school in Biloxi, Ms. They then sent me to Scott Air Force base in Belleville, IL - 20 miles from St. Louis, Mo (which is on the Illinois/Missouri border). I literally had people in my office going around the world and I didn't get to go anywhere. I realized that I could get out and made alot more money, so I got out of the service after my 4 year committment was up. I worked as a contractor for the next 18 months and then hired on at SBC as a Computer Programmer. Recently SBC bought AT&T and they changed our name to AT&T as it's more recognizable. I've been working with AT&T for over 6 years.
I'm in my first marriage, I met my husband 4 years ago. We met at the gym. We've been inseperable since our first date. We got engaged a year after we met and got married 6 months later. We were building a house as we were planning our wedding. We moved into the house a month after getting married and I got pregnant within a couple months after moving into the house. We were trying to start a family right away. He has a 15 year old daughter from his previous marriage, she lives with us full time.
My husband is a Molecular Biologist for Sigma Aldrich. And we work out at the gym 5 days a week - I'll see about getting some pics on that website mentioned above. He is originally from the St. Louis area so his family is all in this area we're living in.
My stepdaughter, Amanda, just turned 15. She will be starting 10th grade in the fall. She goes to a high school that is only 9th - 12th grade, but it has about 3,000 students going there!
My son, Kaden, is 21 months old. And he's a pure joy! Talking, playing, insatiably curious, and cute as a bug! When I was 26 weeks pregnant with him, I was put on bedrest for the rest of my pregnancy - 3 long months! But he went to full term and then rushed right out (only 3 1/2 hours for the laber AND delivery! All natural, no epidural)!
We go down to Destin, FL for a week long family vacation each May. And we make another week long trip to visit my family in Selma each year.
We will be coming to the reunion. I can't wait to see everyone!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
