Kristie Higgins Woodworth

Well, I'm not sure how entertaining this will be, after reading Sprayberry's bio , but here goes:
After graduation, I took the summer off to play and goof around. I knew that would be the last time I got to do that and not worry about things. That fall, I started at Walker State Technical College, majoring in accounting. I only went one semester. Started working at Golden Corral as hostess and had a ball! That was fun! Then they changed management, so I changed, too. Then I worked for Sav-Mor Foods for about a year until I needed to go full-time, so I started working at Auto-Zone with Kelsey Tidwell. That was a fun job, too. Then I met a guy, thought I fell in love, and moved to Texas with him in Aug. 1990. That relationship lasted less than a year. Then I met Jon. Jon was my martial-arts instructor. We met in April of 1991, had our first date Sept. 4, was engaged by Sept. 29, and married by Nov. 9, 1991. I know, that was pretty quick, but, almost 15 years later we're still together. And with 4 kids!
Jon owns his own business, Rite Way Foundation Repair. "If you're gonna do it right, do it the Rite Way!" I'm a stay-at-home-mom, although I help Jon out quite a bit. We live right outside Austin, Texas. Our home is paid for, along with the ranch that we own. We have three horses, four dogs, two parakeets, two boa constrictors, and a flock of pigeons that my oldest daughter raises.
Heather is 12 and will be going into the 7th grade in the fall. She's doing very well and is following in her Mom's footsteps with singing. She's also a very talented artist and becoming an accomplished horsewoman.
Trevor is 9 and will be in the 4rd grade. He's on the A/B Honor Roll and takes piano. The kid totally amazes me! He can hear a song once and can play it back. He has a great ear for music! And he loves to ride his 'pocket rocket'. He wants a horse, but I think we're going to wait a little longer on that.
Madison is 6 and will be entering 1st grade in the fall. She loves to sing, dance, draw...she's such a happy little girl! She has informed me that she wants a white pony when she's older. I guess we need to start looking for some more horses! LOL!
Brandon is 3, and into EVERYTHING! He loves to climb, push buttons on the computers and TV (NOT good!), and he LOVES to irritate his sibblings! He's a handfull! Very active, to say the least! LOL!
I love being a SAHM! Yes, even with Brandon in the mix! And I love Austin! There is practically everything and anything you could ever want. There are some fantastic places to see, so if you are ever in the vicinity, please call me! I'd love to play hostess and show you around my adoptive state! I do miss the pine trees, though. And of course, my old friends!
We love going to the beach at Port Aransas! If you ever get a chance to go to the Texas Sand Fest, GO! It is incredible! www.texassandfest.com
Check out this website. Jon is now a Master Sculptor, as of April 2006. It's amazing the things they can do with sand! The Master Sculptors go all around the world competing. Which means we'll start traveling a lot this summer. I can't wait! Oh, and Jon has his own website: www.sanddad.com
