After leaving Woodlawn in 1972 due to my Dad changing jobs, I graduated from Morgan County High School in Hartselle. I attended Jacksonville State on an ROTC scholarship with plans to go to dental school. Four years and several late nights at the Kappa Sigma house later, I found myself in the Army after several unsuccessful attempts at gaining admission to dental school. I continued as a career officer in the Army retiring in 1997. Most of my Army career was spent flying.
Following retirement, I worked for the US Marshals Service in Oklahoma City for 2 years flying federal prisoners all over the country, followed by 3 years at US Airways. I was furloughed from US Airways in Jan 2002 as a result of the events of 9/11. Fortunately I was able to use my old Army network and find a job back in Sweet Home Alabama. I currently work for the Army in Huntsville as a civil service employee.
Along the way I met and married Kelly Scott, the daughter of a retired Air Force officer whom I met while in California attending graduate school. She and I have two lovely daughters - Calan (23) who just graduated from the University of North Alabama with an Art degree and Anna (18) who will attend THE University of Alabama this Fall.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
