Today's Featured Biography
Michael Rosgen
After H.S., Craig Parker and I moved to Spokane where we formed the band "USS". Living in a 13 room mansion on the South Hill for 550.00 a month!!! We gigged around the area for a few months before splitting and going our separate ways. I joined Spokane supergoup Hussy, and began road tripping and having a ball!! We were very good and had a ton of bookings, including a very prestigious month long booking at EXPO 72. Tons of Fun!!!
Well as we, that have done it, all know there is not a great future for "Bar Bands" so back to Kennewick I went to try to make "real money". I realize now that quitting school to be a "rockstar" was not the best idea. In 1976, I was married and the next year we began our Parenthood experience. Justin in 1977, Gabriel in 1980, and along came Brendan in 1989. I suddenly felt like Fred McMurray!!
I began my career printing, and designing "wearables" in 1978, and have been in the industry since. But last year while installing a new shirt press, I injured my knee and ended up getting a new one, it getting infected, it getting replaced, and a VERY long battle with infections.
Now I am beginning the Vocational Rehab part of my life. School will start for me soon, and then, the journey conitnues....
