Hi Classmates,
The annual Potluck for this year has been scheduled for Saturday, August 16th beginning at 12:00 Noon (or as soon as you get there 😊 ).
We have in the past started later, like 3 pm or so, but as we get older for some folks it gets harder to stay later. So we figured we�d move it up a bit. Of course anytime you can get there is fine.
As always, it will be held (and hosted by Jim and Marilyn Larson � Thanks!) at the Larson family compound at 3188 Unick Rd. in Ferndale, Wa 98248. Call Jim or Marilyn at 360-312-9142 if need help getting there.
Something new this year is that they installed a carport cover over the driveway. So if you need to get out of the sun or if we get any showers, we�ll be ok.
As always, it is BYOB and please bring a dish or something to share if you can. Also, please bring a portable/folding chair or two if you can to make sure we have enough seating for all.

Today's Featured Biography
Debi Warner Miller
Hi...I know I haven't been to a reunion since 1978, but things change and I may attend another, yet.
I've been married to my soulmate for almost 18 years and have never regretted a day of it. I have 2 wonderful grandchildren; Hayley Amanda Wright(1995) and Abigail Ireland Wright(2006). It's a far easier job being a grandmother than motherhood. I just don't have enough time with them, though. David (Hayley's dad)lives in Las Vegas and is a middle school teacher. He is working on his second master's degree at this time. Christopher (Abby's dad) lives in Davenport, Iowa where he is a chemical mixer for a chemical company. My husband, Dean, is a disabled Vietnam Vet and retired from the Army. He works for the Navy at Bremerton Navy Shipyard as a project materials manager on the submarine overhauls. I retired from nursing the end of 2003 to provide more care for my mother. She lived with me for 8 years until this last Feb., when she went to live with my sister while she is on hospice. Increased physical difficulties, after 36 years of nursing, has taken a toll on me, and I was unable to continue to care for Mom. I spend my time doing card crafting, scrapbooking, and being with my husband. We live on a beautiful golf course, McCormick Woods; if any of you are into golf. We're surrounded by tall trees, polite deer, frantic squirrels, an Audubon bird preserve, and quiet. A great place for retirement. I hope to make it to the 40th (what????) reunion next year. If anyone knows where Darlene Severson is can you pass on my email address to her. Thanks.
Happy to say we've become grandparents again. Son, Christopher and his wife Jenni, has given birth to another girl; Skyler Michelle Wright on Feb. 11, 2008. Lucky us to now have 3 granddaughters!
