Today's Featured Biography
Jacqueline Emery Gilmore
I attended Kent State University for 2 years and then went to work for Ohio Bell. I met my husband, Bob, and we were married in 1972. He was transfered by B. F. Goodrich to Long Beach California. In 1974 we moved to Pasadena, California, where Bob worked as a broker for E. F. Hutton. Our son Scot was born, while we lived in Pasadena. I went back to school at Pasadena City College, then CSUN and finally Cal Luthern University. We moved to Santa Paula, CA when Bob started working for Dean Witter in Ventura, CA. Our daughter Heather was born. I taught school for several years and then became faculty at CSUN teaching math, science, and computer methods for elementary educators. When CSUCI open in Camarillo, I transferred and have now moved in administration where I work with student teachers. We have one granddaugher, Addie, who is 20 months and the light of our lives. We will retire at the end of this school year.
