Vicki Chapin Guidice
Married Anthony Guidice in 1984, Sarah was born in 1988. We moved to St. Louis, MO in 1992 but after realizing we weren't cut out to be Midwesterners came back to Rochester in 1999. St. Louis was a great experience for us as a family and for me careerwise but we missed Wegmans!
Most of my working life has been spent in the catalog business--merchandising catalogs. First at Sporting Dog Specialties, then at Upbeat, Inc. in STL and back here at Petsmart Direct (the old Sporting Dog), then for VWR Education (Ward's, Science Kit and Sargent-Welch). They sell supplies to schools to help teach kids Science. Retired in 2023 to spend more time as a Licensed Official for the United States Equestrian Federation. I'm a Steward and work about 20 horse shows a year.
My husband & I started an internet company selling supplies for Large Format photographers or Fine Art Photographers--they shoot B & W film in 4x5, 5x7, 8x10 and larger sizes. We sold it when he went off to Detroit to go to Law School. He's an Immigration Attorney here in Rochester.
Sarah rides horses (like Mother, like Daughter) and is an alumni of Aquinas Institute where she Boxed (although not in the Mission Bouts). She took a year off to work with horses before heading off to college. She graduated from the University of Findlay in Findlay, OH where she rode on the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association team. Now she has her own business, Training Wheels LLC, that leases ponies to riders who want to horse show We make the trek out there to visit every few months. The only "grandchild" in sight is her Corgi, Stella, and lots of ponies.
