Michael Mennor
After graduating CHS, I attended a semester at Newark State and found that I was not interested in teaching. I enlisted in the US Air Force and spent 20 years - the first 10 years as medical technician (2 years in South East Asia, Vietnam & Thailand). My last 10 years I spent as a satellite communications superintendent. I retired from the Air Force in May 1989 as a Master Sergeant and went to work with Raytheon Technical Services Company out of Marlborough, Massachusetts. At almost 19 years with Raytheon, I am assigned as a Senior Field Engineer at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado where I provide technical support to Air Force technicians on a variety of military satellite communications equipment.
I am planning to retire at age 62 or so and move back to Colonia. I would like to follow my father's footsteps and perform some volunteer work at Kennedy Hospital in Edison and help the nuns at my sister Patty's convent in Convent Station.
