Today's Featured Biography
Jada Tschritter Krall
After graduation, I graduated from UNC-CH with a degree in psychology (what was I thinking?). I worked at the state mental hospital in Butner, NC (seriously) for about a year when I decided that I needed I new career. I went back to school and became a nurse. As a new grad I went to work at Duke in the Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. In the meantime, I met my husband, George, who whisked me away to more new jobs, new homes, new states (NJ, DC, VA, SC, MD, FL) than I can even count. I continued to work in Pediatric Oncology until my son, Samuel, was born. Now I am a busy stay at home mom.
This January we moved from Baltimore to Florida and are so happy. We love living down here...it feels like we are vacation every day. Sam loves the water and being on the boat. He will be starting 4 year old preschool this year and I am considering going back for a certification to become a Legal Nurse Consultant so I can continue working as a nurse, but do it from home.
George has a great job with Southwest Airlines and is really happy to be back in FL which is his home. We hope that we will be able to stay here for a long time and finally settle down.
Its great to read about all of you! The reunion sounds like fun!
