New Bern High School, Class of 1958. East Carolina University, BSBA, Class of 1964. Worked with Humble Oil Company as Territory Manager, Athens, Ga. District Sales Manager, Western Auto, Frederick, MD and Columbia, SC. District Manger, South Carolina, for True Value Hardware Stores. Since retirement in 2001, I work as an Independent Contractor for Do it Best Corp of Fort Waye, IN. I travel the USA setting up conversion stores with inventory control and inventory managment systems.
Like being active and being a part of the solution. Member of Covenant Presbyterian and Doric Masonic Lodge. Now live in Rock Hill, SC. Love the Palmetto State, especially the low country. A great place to live, work, play and retire.
Married to Barbara Jeanne Goins of Gastonia, NC. Together we have seven children, a 25-year old bird, "Angel" (now passed) and one canine companion,"Bella Rose".
Still have sand in my shoes. Love the beach, shag, golf, boating and kayaking. Enjoy my travels throughout our country as a consultant for the hardware and building supply industry. I have discovered that, "America, the beautiful", is a truism. That beauty starts right here in the Carolina's.
Have found old friends remain some of your best friends. I am truly blessed.
