Before we know it another five years will have passed and we'll be getting together again. The reunion committee plans to meet occasionally discussing ideas for our next get together. The planning will then start in 2012, feel free to send your comments and ideas. Anyone who has pictures to share, please contact me, you can either mail or email them. I would like to scan them into our website.... I will be updating the site with any I have, soon. |

Today's Featured Biography
Connie Arnett Ward
My older son, Chris, is a computer analyst at a credit union and will soon turn 30 (which is hard to believe--where did the years go?). He has two children. My grandson was born in 2000, my granddaughter in 2003. They are the light of my life.
My younger son, Patrick is a Ph.D. student in Political Science at the Univ. of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He will be a college professor and I hope he finds a good job not too far from Maryland. I plan to throw a huge party when he finishes his dissertation!
I am incredibly proud of both of my sons. It wasn't easy adjusting to having an "empty nest" after being a single parent for quite a few years. I am happily married now and my husband and I enjoy spending time with our families and friends, particularly our adult children and our grandchildren.
We are active in a Lutheran church. For those who know me well, you might remember that I was active in the Baptist church for most of my life, but after moving away from Hyattsville and since I've worked for a Lutheran agency for almost ten years, I decided to explore other denominations. The connection between my work life and personal life has become a big part of my faith.
I've been working full-time since high school graduation. I would love to retire and do something else besides office work, but that won't happen any time soon unless I win the lottery!
