Today's Featured Biography
Dwaine Hampton
During my life after high school there where many Murray High School graduates that had a direct impact on my life. Upon leaving high school I purchased a beet farm in Yazoo City, Mississippi. I became a very accomplished beet farmer and would sell my beets at the local market on weekends. It was one of those weekends that I met the legendary adult film producer, Mike "Cane Pole" Utley, a Murray High School graduate. He was scouting locations for his new adult film "PlowBoy". He wanted a local person to star as the main character and asked me to do the film. This opportunity would change my life. Not only did I star in "PlowBoy I, but went on to do "PlowBoy II and III". With my new found fame and wealth, I moved to Las Vegas. One day playing blackjack at the MGM Grand, I met another person that would have a big impact on my life. His name was Brett "Big Bust" Harcourt, another Murray High School graduate. He introduced himself to me and with one shake of his hand we were off on a pathetic 72 hour drunken gambling spree up and down the Las Vegas Strip. When my head had cleared, I lost not only my life savings, but the deed to my beet farm in Mississippi. I was devastated. I pawned all the personal property that I had left and bought a one way plane ticket to Jupiter, Florida. There I lived on the streets for a couple months until I met, believe it or not, another Murray High School graduate by the name of Brian "Hollywood" Barlette, renowned dishwasher at the Burt Reynolds Dinner Theater. He recognized me from my early films and said he wanted me to read a script that I would be perfect for. I agreed to do the film and went searching the the right location. Our search led us back to Murray, Ky. The quiet streets and university made it the perfect location for our film , "Pike House Mama". Having trouble finding the right setting for the film, we met another Murray High School graduate, Greg "I need a bigger house" Garland. The film was shot entirely on his massive estate. Local adult film stars were brought out of retirement for the film, such as Tressa "Cannon Ball" Brewer Ross, Tammy "One Minute" Rice and Tommy "the teach" Shown, all Murray High graduates. At the Cheri Theater preview of "Pike House Mama" everyone that worked on the film hoped this would be huge success and in turn, gain the respect the whole cast so desperately needed. Unfortunately the movie turned out to be a major insult to not only the citizens of Murray, but the whole state of Kentucky. Fearing further reprisals, I moved my family to an area North Carolina where I felt safe among the wealthy Jewish population. Now that my acting days are behind me I have now found my purpose in life, being a middle aged, overweight, funeral home manager with a 12 handicap.
