Today's Featured Biography
Debbie Heindel Asmus
Life is good! After Borah, I attended BSU and graduated with a music education degree in 1984 (on the "two kids and five year" plan). It took about 10 minutes to figure out that crowd control was not my thing, so I gave up teaching for the much more rewarding world of being a secretary. Seriously, keeping five bosses organized and in the right place is SO much easier than herding a classroom of 28 eighth graders raised on MTV!
Married in 1980, divorced in 1989 (had the aforementioned two great kids), moved to South Dakota in 1993 (why not? I was young and free!), met the man of my dreams in 1994 and married him in 1995 (two more kids). After working as a secretary for the local university, technical school, Christian school, and public school district, and a brief stint as a life insurance agent, I am now the secretary at a small insurance agency. I love my job and enjoy Fridays off!
I make it to Boise at least once a year to see my parents and siblings.
