Today's Featured Biography
Debbie Osborne Evans
My name is Deb Evans and I have worked at the VHC in Small Animal Medical Records since 1998. Prior to moving to Columbia, Missouri in 1993, I was an Animal Health Technician so transferring that knowledge to SA Medical Records has been fun and rewarding.
I have been married to my terrific husband, Tim, for over 40 years and we have two grown children (daughter, Andreya and son, William). Tim, a veterinary toxicologist, works in the VMDL (Veterinary Diagnostic Lab) just next to the VHC. We have had many pets over the years including horses, dogs and now a cat named “Theophrastus” (we call “Tayo”) and a Grand-dog named Mr. Rogers (“BooBoo”).
We love travelling and have been to almost all 50 states (my husband has been to all 50, I am two behind him) and we have been to 5 of the 7 continents.
I belong to a tap dance group called “Tapped-In” and we love to perform at holiday events and at our dance school, Dancearts. I also love murder podcasts, Dateline, 48 hours, and such.
Two fun facts:
-I graduated from Yuma High School, where our mascot is a “Criminal” (take that, Hickman “Kewpies”, for a weird mascot)
-I also was the 1976 Silver Spur Rodeo Queen in my younger life.
