It's been a very long journey. After a fast 2 1/2 years at UCA and another at Fayetteville, I had managed to party my way to a BBA in Finance and an MBA. From there, I partied my way through 1 1/2 years in a Ph.D. program in Finance at LSU until I partied a bit too hard and was hospitalized for 3 weeks with pneumonia during mid-terms. Thinking the dustbowl might be a better environment, I transferred to Texas Tech, still working on Ph.D. in Finance. The last day of my first semester I was run over by an uninsured drunk driver....see a pattern forming here? After a few years of teaching Economics and Finance in the desert, I returned to Arkansas disguised in a body cast. After a few years in Arkansas, I decided to try for a Ph.D. one more time - this time in Health Services Administration at Univ of Alabama @ Birmingham...yes, 1 1/2 years and surgery hit again and I decided I was through with school for good. I spent a few years with HealthSouth, 9 years with IBM, and now spend my time analyzing data about pregnant women and writing papers for the Arkansas Dept of Health. Oh, and I'm back in school. Just another master's - Master's of Public Health this time - I think it was the Ph.D. causing all of the disasters (plus I can finish a master's without going to class while I'm being put back together).
I've never been married, no kids, but a great 12 year old nephew and 9 year old niece. Therefore, the love of my life is my 10 year old Chihuahua, Duffer. I've been in Arkansas about 5 years now, so who knows where I'll head next....I'm hoping for New England.
Made it to New England 4 years ago. Currently working as biostastician at Yale Univeraity in New Haven, CT. I guess I'm here to stay. I bought a condo near the beach and feel like I have found my happy place. I loved growing up in Conway but I really love New England - now watch, it will be like my first winter, a hundred year hurricane followed by a hundred year winter for snow. Whoopie! Fun times in Connecticut.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
