Today's Featured Biography
Michael McCart
After graduation, I played at going to college, for 4 1/2 years, in Kansas. After that, I dropped out and joined the Army. I served 6 years, including combat tours in Somalia (remember the "Blackhawk Down" incident? I refueled all those choppers) and the invasion of Haiti.
Half way through my military career, I got married and my daughter was born, in TN.
After getting out of the Army, in fall of 1998, we returned to Anchorage, and I re-started college. I got my AA in Computer Science and started working as a Network Engineer. I went on to earn my BS in Bus Admin, and my MS in Bus Mgmt. During all of this work and schooling, my son was born.
I've worked for the past two years as a Project Engineer, in Prudhoe Bay, for AIC. My kids live in Boise, with their mom, but I see them a few times, each year. I'm engaged to a wonderful lady, named Rebecca, and we're to be getting married in Feb '10, in Hawaii.
