Daniel Settle

I joined the Army right out of High School. I spent four years on active duty. During which, I was deployed to Iraq during Desert Storm. I spent six months in the middle east, a far cry from what the Service men and women are being required to stay in country today. They are always in my thoughts. After the army, I returned to Anchorage for a year before moving to St. Louis, Missouri. I met my wife Juli in 1992. We had our first son in 1993 and were married in Feburuary 1994. I was employed as a machinist for a small family company there. I moved back to Alaska in 2001 and took a job on the North Slope. My family and I live in Wasilla, AK.
