10/28/2004 Now & Then Photos
I have begun the process of putting the "now & then" photos up on the page. These will rotate and correspond with the bio of the day. I would love everyone to send in a picture of them now
. . .
After high school I attended UAA for a couple of years, then transferred to Northern Arizona and played club hockey with Mr. Ellison. I ran out of money, quickly, and moved back to Anchorage and finished school with an Elementary Education degree and a minor in Mathematics. I started my teaching career at Mears Middle School, you know the place, teaching math. During the next few years I just played hockey and snowboarded with most of the same guys I hung out with in high school. Then at some point, Krag Johnsen had to get married, so I went down to be in the wedding. There I met one of his wife's beautiful friends. One year later, 2003, I moved to Raleigh, NC to be with her. We married on June 23rd, 2005 and will be movied back to Anchorage in August 2005.
**Back in AK 8/05, taught for a few years, now am taking some time off from teaching and working at CH2M Hill, formerly VECO.
**My wife just had our first daughter, Karoline Leighton Bohne, 9/24/08.
