Today's Featured Biography
Timothy Melican
Life's been good to me so far!
20 years out of high school...wow, time flies. Its seems like forever since the 10 year reunion where we were all just a little older than our Senior Selves. 20 years...is much different than 10. I think we are all more normal...and happier and more certain where we fit in the world.
All in all, I get to the end of the year and reflect on New Year's Eve and think...Good year! Hopefully many more to follow!
I have not been married yet, but I am on year 3.5 of my 5 year plan. Still the discovery stage...but, hoping Ms. right walks around the corner any day now! My little sister had a wonderful niece, 2 years ago, so that has me thinking more about a family of my own. Hopefully my "Shot Clock" has not expired. (That is a basketball term, some of you would not understand)
My Magic Bus company just celebrated 10 years of business. I had my first Magic Bus at the 10 year reunion but was not full time until April 1997. The business has allowed me to meet some great people, some famous, some not..but all of them excited to visit Alaska. I managed to trick the bank into lending on a nice house in Anchorage, a great spot on the mountain in girdwood (although I don't ski since its cold out there)...but, its great place and nice spot to relax over a glass of wine or a pizza from Chair 5. I have 5 vehicles in my Magic Bus fleet and I am looking forward to the next stages of my life. Not many regrets!
I am sure there are still a few more interesting chapters to be written in the "world according to Tim aka the Magic Bus Guy". to be continued...
