Today's Featured Biography
Richard White
I'm a single male, who grew up as an Army brat; I had to go to school in Germany and France and was lucky enough to attend Elementary school Matthew Whaley) in Williamsburg Virginia and Junior High in Yorktown Virginia and graduating at Kaiserslautern American High School in Germany.
After Basic training and AIT , BUT, I served with the Oklahoma National Guard Troop “A” Second Recon 45th,Infantry Division. During college, I worked for a TV station KSWO-TV, Lawton Oklahoma, as a sound technician and TV cameraman after receiving my 1st Class FCC License I ot a job at Page Aircraft Maintenance, located at Fort Sill Oklahoma in their Avionics Department repairing Army airplane avionics at twice the salary. Then I received a CO-OP job with North American Aviation Rocketdyne Division in Canoga Park California as a Instrumentation Engineer while attending UCLA and later the University of Missouri including many many special course work in I/T and the Supply Chain world.
I worked in Aerospace for 12 years NASA Houston Apollo and Skylab and NASA JPL AS A FD on VIKING mission to Mars. I then had a career change and moved into the Retail sector applying my Aerospace Systems Engineering experience having responsibility for all I/T, Warehousing, Supply Chain, Telecom, Accounting Systems and Retail operational Systems. I am doing contract work for major Telecom companies like AT&T, Retailers, Apparel Manufacturers and Distribution Companies by providing hands-on leadership for the Design, Management, and ongoing enhancement of their Information Technology Requirements which includes infrastructure development, networking, Business Solutions off the shelf selection, installations/customizations, applications programming, management reporting, help desk services, and technical, insuring the completing of projects on time, within budget, and according to project specifications.
